My heart couldn't handle this book a second time around. I did not remember as much of this one as I did the first one. I forgot about the little things that broke my heart. Nehemia hurts just as bad as the first read. The ending still slaps though. So bad ass. ...more
Let me start this review by admitting how I couldn't bring myself to stop reading the last page of this book. I probably read the last couple of lines at least ten times. The book was THAT good!
The storyline took awhile to pick up, which made it hard for me to focus on the story. It legitimately took me a month to get through the first half of this book. Honestly, I was debating whether I should stop reading the book or not, when I finally decided to just finish it.

Good lord! It's been a long time since a YA series has hit me in a type of way that I can't stop reading it. It's no secret that I freaking love Sarah J. Maas' adult books, but I was feeling kinda hesitant going into this, a bit worried that because it is considered YA it just wouldn't be the same...but I've been loving every second.

Re-read Review: My heart was racing as I was reading this and I knew what was going to happen. It was just that good! This book was amazing! I feel like this is the book that sets up the rest of the series so well. I completely agree with my original review about this being one of the best books I have ever read. I read this in one sitting only getting up one to get some water. This is still one of my favorite series of all times, and I am continued to be blown away by Sarah J. Maas even though

Wieder mal ein super Buch von Sarah J. Maas. Ich liebe ihren Schreibstil einfach so <3 Celaena ist einfach Badass. Und mit jedem Buch gefällt sie mir besser :) Chaol mag ich auch wobei ich nicht finde dass die beiden gut zusammen passen :D Freue mich schon auf das nächste Buch!

Habe es um einen Stern nach unten bewertet. Nicht dass es schlecht war aber es hat ein bisschen was für 5 Sterne gefehlt :D Bin gespannt wie es weitergeht :D
