I loved this book it was so fast paced and so very interesting I could not put it down the further I got into it the better it got. I liked all of the characters Darrow the most he is so very interesting in his motives and everything else about him. I loved the story how it flowed and how it all made sense, in the end, it was really well written. So overall I really liked this book will be finishing this series as soon as I can.

2.25 ⭐️⭐️✨
It took me forever to get through this book. I actually read 6 other books from the time I started this until I completed it. The story is great and the writing is good but it got really boring for me during their whole capture the flag/war games. Which is most of the book. Maybe this one would have been better if I’d read it instead of listened to it. It was hard to keep the characters straight and I didn’t understand what was going on at times. I’m clearly in the minority and I’m not ...more

I read it so quickly and the next book is on the way. The characters, the pace, the feelings and plot were on another level.
I have gone back to reading in French (my native language) and the translation was perfect. These past few months, I've also stopped listening to audiobooks even though I have hundreds on ...more

I'm around 30% in and I just cant with this. It is so overhyped, i was expecting something extraordinary. While reading this I feel nothing, no connection with any of the characters, nor do I care for them. Its the writing style for me, it just puts me off.
