This is one of those books where prior knowledge of the main characters is not a good thing. Joe and Stephanie have been supporting characters throughout the series and you get to know them, but only on a superficial level. Their attraction caught fire in "Feel the Heat" but we never got "their" story. Well, here it is and I'm very disappointed that this is the best Cindy Gerard could do for these two wonderful characters. The character development was lacking, but I will say, the action was off
