This story felt like a random chapter out of one of the Black Ops books. I didn't feel like I learned anything new.

Same here. I’m thinking she wrote this to go in that anthology but it was published after the last full length book in the series. This should have been inserted before that book. That’s why I considered Last Man Standing to be the end of the series.

I actually think this should be numbered 3.5. I’m going to change the series list as Gerard’s website doesn’t list it as #7.5.

Last Man Standing was the end of this series. This was just a really short story. I thought it was a good one. I read almost all the stories in the Love Is Murder anthology and enjoyed most of them. They were all really short, less than a 1/2 to read one.
