Al terminar de leer esta obra, es fácil comprender por qué ha perdurado durante tanto tiempo, a pesar de que ahora el mounstruo de Frankenstein sea relacionado más con un popular disfraz para Halloween que con el absolutamente fascinante personaje de Mary Shelley.
En general esta obra me gustó muchísimo pero me abstengo de ponerle 5 estrellas por dos razones: el doctor Víctor Frankenstein para mi fue detestable, aunque amé la narración que él hace; y en esta edición se encuentran varios errores d ...more

This is one of those books it seems one ought to read. It isn't at all like any of the film versions, that have been made over the years. Frankenstein is the surname of the creator of the monster. A lot of the book tells the story of the monster who is free, and learning about the beauty of the earth, people, language, etc. At first he is seeing the beauty of the world, and he wants to be part of society.
