I totally dig it, this strange children's fantasy. If I had read this as a kid it would have been a favourite. I missed out there, Mum??

The weird, ironic, charismatic characters from the Munchkins to the Winged Monkeys are just too cool. The story is quirky, some parts are out-there and slightly violent in ways.

A good book for children as I feel it touches on confidence and believing in one's self. The characters go after something they want even though they are afraid and continually doubt the ...more
