What Members Thought
A Newberry Award winner, it's a classic that's a little outdated. Some will point out the antiquated views on the wife in the household, but you have to remember when this was written. If you don't look at it too closely, it's a cute little story about a man who loves the Poles and is tickled pink when he receives a penguin as a gift. One penguin turns into two, which then turns into many, and much hilariousness ensues. I read though this, coming up with questions as a fun little read for my kid
