So I read this and then I watched the movie. I have to admit, although I usually like the books better, for this one, I really enjoyed the movie more. Overall, though, it's not my cup of tea. Sci-fi is my least favorite of all the genres and I'm not sure why. I suppose I just don't get into all the futuristic, technological type stuff, and especially not enough to read a book where I have to learn and remember new words, places, and names that are typically not easy to remember.
