Wowzers!

So, the 1st book I've finished in 2021=
(a) Is a book that I've been meaning to read for YEARS, so I am super happy to have finally done so
(b) Was in Audible format and had a FANTASTIC narrator
(c) Blew my mind

Worth it.

Shelves: classics

I'm a bit unsure about this one. I enjoyed the writing, but I feel like it was certainly repetitive and over half of the novel had a drudgingly slow pacing. Yet, the twists and turns this book took me on were truly shocking. I found myself enraptured with the last hundred pages, but does that make up for at least 100 pages of drawn out material? I'm not sure of my answer yet, but for now I'll leave it to its four stars. ...more
