This book has been on my classics TBR shelf for quite some time. I kept putting off reading it because I thought it would be a dull read. Was I ever wrong! I so thoroughly enjoyed this book and immersed myself in the simple world of Anne Shirley's life on Prince Edward Island, Canada in the early 1900s.
