Dropped in a reread of this book, and I still stand by the fact this is one of the best books. I love how much it makes me feel. I love that the description of Alex's feeling about Texas are 100% my feelings about living in Texas. I love that the description of what Henry carries around in him due to how early his father died is exactly what it is like to experience such grief so early on.

I live forever for Alex & Henry, for The Super Six, the poly couple, EVERYTHING EVER.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected as I am not generally a fan of romances. There was a lot more to the story involving friendships and finding your place in the world, not to mention a little bit of politics. Not very surprising when one of the main characters is the son of the President and one is a prince in the Royal family, though not the heir apparent, so wouldn't have the title of the Prince of Wales. Adorable, provocative, and all around our alt future we wish we had coming to us in 2019.

Why haven’t you started it yet? Do you need to know more about how much you love Alex? How you’re already swooning over Henry because you remember that Seventeen magazine article about Prince William with the candid photos in the blue button down? Yeah?

I love what this book stood for. I love an enemies to more trope. I love the idea that maybe America (and England) can be talked out of being run by idiots. ...more

This book is trendy, youthful, funny, sappy, sweet, hopeful, adorable, romantic... and all of the other things I normally disdain about romance. And I loved it with my whole heart.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book. It started out real strong I liked the main characters, especially the prince. It dragged for me. I enjoyed the story but it was definitely too long! The political focus was too much for me.

I needed to read a book like this right now, where this alternate universe exists and life might be dark at times but good, beautiful surprises still exist and love wins. Friends and family tend to drift sometimes but can outrageously support each other and hope pulls through in the end. This book gave me so many warm feelings, the characters and writing were so lively.
