Cozy and lighthearted, but with a big message throughout. Acceptance, creating a big life, celebrating differences and family is who you decide it to be are ideas explored through a tale of unusual children in an isolated orphanage. Very different than anything I normally read and just sweet, at times too much for my dark heart 😂
This fun fantasy story was the perfect escape from the pandemic. Rather cheesy at times, but I didn't mind, as I relished the joy and sweetness the story delivers through its loveable characters and charming tone.
