I could see how this wouldn’t be for everyone but I loved this book. “It is quite a revelation to discover that the place you wanted to escape to is the exact same place you wanted to escape from. That the prison wasn’t the place, but the perspective.”

Read until the end.

A friend recommended this book for normalizing mental health conversations. It was ok for that. But battling some depression myself made this book feel heavy.

Don’t want to spoil it. But ...

I like books about books. But this was not really that.

More what-if/alternate universe theory/fiction.

Kind of “whatever” for me.
