A thoroughly enjoyable supernatural thriller, set in the northeast (Vermont, I think? I should check, but lazy), in winter. It flips between 1908 and the present, and both time periods have supernatural, ghostly, elements to them.

It's a fast read, mostly because you want to keep on reading it, to see what happens next.

Good horror

Horror isn't usually my cup of tea. I felt like part a if this were slow, but it all added up to a creepy story. I liked that it wasn't too gory, though parts of it were sad and there's mentions of child death (in part because one timeline is 1908 and that is just the time. )
