On the one hand, I took nine months to get through this one, stopping and starting as the mood struck. I recommended it to two people while I was still reading it, and they managed to get caught up on the whole series before I finished this one!

Wow, this was good. It was slow to start, the characters were a bit harsh and it took time to get connected to them, I think I like Kaladen the best but a!so Shallen. But as I set in I appreciated most of the characters. Dalinar got to me by the end of it. The plot was a bit brutal,but there is a mystery underneath it all that just drags you along. The world building is amazing and I loved the sketches. And the twists were just great.
