Knowing how long ago this mystery was written, I did not expect it to be as engaging as it was. I read it in about 25 hours, staying up far too late, and feeling very jumpy when I had to take the dog outside in the dark one last time to go to the bathroom. While I believe that I read some of Christie's work when I was in high school, I don't remember much about it, and certainly didn't recognize any of this plot. This was my first Agatha Christie book. I really enjoyed it and will be reading more of her books. The story kept me guessing.
Wow. It has been just long enough from watching the special on tv that I had forgotten who did it, and the book is definitely better than the movie. You really can’t tell who it is until the end.

I find it more difficult to listen to mysteries. I almost guessed this one.
