Like the book one I first watched the movie and I thought ok, I didn't like the book 1 so let's skip Scorch Trials and start book three, but when I did I realized I don't understand a thing as if I don't have any clue what had happened in Scorch Trials so I got back to it and wow the movie is completely different from the book, I'm wondering how they could change the story that much?

Still I liked the movie better. so this book only gets 3 from me. ...more

After reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner earlier this year, it was inevitable that I would hurry to pick up The Scorch Trials. Before doing so, however, I refreshed my memory with another read-through of The Maze Runner... and I think I liked it even more the second time around.

With The Scorch Trials I found it easier to adapt to the world and the "variables" being thrown at Thomas and his crew, mostly because of how The Maze Runner had prepared me for them. Dashner does a fantastic job of ...more

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. I read this book in about 16 hours. I couldn't put it down. Now I'm stalking the kid that has the 3rd book so that I can get it from him and read it!!! ...more
