Shelves: 2012, modern-lit
After reading reviews and book group discussions about 'The Night Circus', I realized that this is one of those novels that most people seem to either love or hate. I fall somewhere in between, closer to loving it than hating it. I enjoyed it.

Most of the appeal of 'The Night Circus' is based on the imagery, the descriptiveness of this magical circus and the story of it's creation and existence. It takes a while for the plot to really get moving - about halfway through the book is when it picked

Entertaining and original read. Good read to discuss with others, I think.

What a curious book. I had the unusual experience of loving it while I was reading it but not really looking forward to reading it once I set it aside. I was never especially anxious to get back to it, but when I picked it up I was immediately back in the story, tangled up with the characters and wanting more.

This was a very good book. It was told in a different format than I am used to, but in the end it felt right for the book. I am glad I was able to read it and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
