In many ways this was exactly the sort of fluff I was looking for as I simultaneously read something grim and dark. On the other hand, this was ridiculous and I ended up scanning the end just to finish.

This just was not for me. I really didn't like the main character. I couldn't get into the plot. It's not really my usual type of book but I wanted to try it for a readathon. I wouldn't say it's bad exactly just not for me.
