If you're interested in a multi-level, multi-sensory reading experience, then I definitely recommend this. It's not often that a book focuses on the actual physical act of reading, rather than a book being a static immobile thing that exists solely to convey the author's words to you. Reading something like this cleans your reading palate - it scours away the years of regular reading, and reminds you how thrilling language and reading can be at its most fundamental level.

There exists a manuscript detailing the events of a documentary that doesn’t exist concerning a certain house on Ash Tree Lane that cannot be found. All who read it are plagued by nightmares and unease. Spaces where no space should be, creeping shadows in well-lit rooms, empty passages in a long-dead house.
