Another Dickens complete, this one better than the last. While this story is well known and often redone, it doesn't lose its spark or suspense. I'm not sure if it's the depth of the characters or the child that finally gets the home he so deserves, but this one had my heart melting.

I don't feel like there's much to say. Many of the themes Dickens covers in this novel are in others as well, as we all know he likes his favorites. He's just a damn good writer. Weaving storylines together effortle ...more

I actually started this book in July and have finally finished it at this moment. Read for a class! The beginning and middle of this book are depressing, but really emphasize the conditions the poor of the 19th century had to endure. The ending was worth it though!
