4.5 stars. It was different book than I’ve ever read, but it brought to mind Something Wicked This Way Comes. I loved the idea of it and it sparked all kinds of fun ideas as I read it. The only reason I rate it less than 5 is because I spent a lot of the book feeling pretty sure I wasn’t going to like how it ended. But then I really DID like how it ended and it came together well and I wished I would have felt more hopeful about it the whole time I listened. But the author did a good job overall

This book is so good! I thought I had it all figured out and then the author slapped me in the face with the twists. You never know which direction this book will take you.

Let me just say that I didn't really like this book...
I didn't like this story, I didn’t like the characters especially Scarlet. She spent the almost whole book being afraid and doing stupid mistakes. Tella was really spoiled and was annoying as hell. And Julian was ok!
I had a real problem with the story, because it was a bit messy and I could predict some of the plot twists, nothing was interesting to me.
The only reason I would consider reading the next book is to find out what happens after t ...more

Very few book can have me completely fooled but this one did. It was a fun fast read. Very enjoyable.
