When I first bought this book it was a couple of years ago and the cover looked much different. Now, Ms. Houck has herself a publisher and the story is much the same, and still fantastic!
First off, Kelsey Hayes, the main character, is absolutely one of my most favorite characters in any book. She is a sweet, fun-loving, vulneralble, but also strong, tenacious, and altogether very human and relatable. I found myself, while not always agreeing with her every choice, totally understanding of why Ke ...more

From the first chapter, I had fallen in love with this novel. Tiger's Curse is not only thrilling and compelling, it is also touching and endearing. the characters are quite distinguished and very easy to like. Each has an individual voice that is different in it's own way. The idea of the novel is enticing and magical.
Once I began reading, I couldn't stop until I had finished, and even then I wanted to hear more.

This is an AMAZING... PHENOMENAL... WONDERFUL series, and it has instantly shot to the top of my personal all-time favorite series list. I should mention that I have three series tied for the top spot honors, meaning I could never choose between them. All are equally great in their own way.
In awe of this story, I could go on for pages and still not do justice to Colleen Houck 's brilliance as it relates to this series. Instead, I will say Tiger's Curse is a perfect beginning to this amazing sto ...more

i LOVE LOVE this book!! Collen Houck writes such great describing and sensory details. i already knew that the Indian culture was beautiful and interesting in so many ways, but this made me understand it better and learn from it too. i also love the different meaningful poems, myths, the love between the characters, the characters, all the action, and well...this list could keep on going, but lets cut it to the chase, i definitely recommend this book. =]

Magnificent! I loved this book! I fell head over heels for Ren and I could relate well with Kelsey! She thinks too much though (like i do!) and that was reeeally ticking me off because it is so OBVIOUS she and Ren are supposed to be together! Ughh! I still loved it though and can't wait until Tiger's Quest comes in at the library so I can see Ren and Kelsey be joined again!! <3 Also, just another aspect about the book I loved was whole Tiger's Curse thing. I mean, yeah, it was the title so obvio

Interesting look into both Indian Myth as well as a reinterpretation of The Beauty and the Beast tale, with a heartbreaking ending. My full review will be up on Zach's YA Reviews at zachsyareviews.blogspot.com on July 25, 2012

I am so glad that a co-worker, who has read the first three series books twice, gave me her copy of Tiger's Curse to read. Read the first nine chapters the day I received the book and returned my friend's copy to her the next day. Why - because I went directly to B&N and bought my own copies of the first three books! Author Colleen Houck writes with such emotion with plenty of details through heroine Kelsey's POV. Love the descriptions of India and the story is full with a great storyline and am
