What Members Thought
I see why this is a big hit with readers, particularly those who are into fandom. I’m not really so I wasn’t overexcited about it. I was charmed by Aled and Francis’ friendship. I think most people have had that deep non-romantic connection with someone at some point in their lives...where you feel like one person in two bodies. So that aspect of the story was really endearing. Other than that, I thought it was just a slightly above average read.
A very different YA book. I enjoyed it because there wasn’t the typical formula I find in so many YA books.
Great premise, slow pacing, sweet and clever main characters that became a bit too immature for an adult reader. Had to let it go a third of the way through.
