Ok, so. The prose was good, not anything great and spectacular, but good. After finishing this book, i felt that it was a pretty solid summer read. I actually was expecting more for some reason and felt kind of disappointed in the end. I don't know exactly what i was expecting but everyone has told me how great this book was so i didn't realize my expectations were higher than i thought it would be. I enjoyed this book, I have not read many YA books and this one was good. I loved the accomplishments and the confidence that Emily gained as she completed each of the tasks on the list. It was a journey of self discovery and becoming her own person and not the shadow of her best friend Sloane. Great book!!
