I really enjoyed this book. It was a good mystery with great characters, who were fully developed. It was also a bit of commentary on the celebrity life, which I found interesting. I hope I get to hang out with them and solve another mystery. I have found another detective to love next to my favorite Pendergast. Very well done.

The Cuckoo's Calling

Well, the reason it's called Cuckoo is sort of dumb, but the rest of the book was good! It was a tiny bit predictable in that you see "psychological thriller" and immediately you know the person you least suspect did it. But even then, the author still had me second and third guessing myself all the way until the very confession! I really liked the details that are put into the book too and you know pretty much everything that Strike knows so you can follow it yourself too! L ...more

Incredible. No matter how different the subject matter, the author knows how to ensure you become addicted to the characters, and the world in which they live.
