Jan. 2020 - Some of the magic presented is so beautiful, especially Lily’s sacrifice, endowing Harry with the gift of her love that protects him forever. It’s really, very beautiful, magic.
2019 March- Read this again. Filled my soul with happiness just as much as it did the first time. Never gets old.
April 2017 I recently listened to this with my two youngest kids and loved it to pieces all over again. Best series ever!

After rereading these books countless times, it amazes me just how much I enjoy them every time as I get older. They are just as good as they've always been--maybe even better. No series will ever top Harry Potter for me. The experience is rich, meaningful, emotional, and magical.

I have actually read this series more than once but I thought I would post a review because I am reading it again - I have the original paperbacks.
This story captures the imagination, and even though it is meant for a younger audience, mine went into overdrive the first time I read it and I am far from young. I never thought I would read a childrens book again but once I started this book I just couldn't put it down. Wonderful - if you have never read it you are missing out.
