This was so good!
It was enemies to friends to fwb to lovers and I love love love fwb. Henry and Alex fit perfectly together and complemented each other so well. And their first kiss was amazing. Also, I loved reading their emails, and the way they added little excerpts of poems and stuff at the end <3
Their was also a little found family trope in this which I really liked. The night at the karaoke bar was the best. All the characters were really funny and well-fleshed out. I love Nora and June es ...more

all i have to say after this is i now 100% understand the people that made this book their personality trait. i’m in love.

more like a 3.5 stars~~~ i didn’t really care for either of the main characters (particularly alex) and found that i cared more about the politics and election rather than the romance. was expecting way more of a slow burn but Nora June and bea carried this book in all honesty.
3.7/5 stars!

Just finished this book and i really loved how the author handles the relationship between this two, with such care and sensitivity and compassion, the bisexual awakening of a character who only comes to realise, accept and embraces his bisexuality in his twenties. Learning the facets of one's gender and sexuality is a journey with no definite beginning or end point. The myth of "coming out" too early or too late is just that: a myth. I honestly absolutely adored this book and it was exactly what I needed after reading A Little Life, just optimistic, young adult, fluffy, sugary goodness of a book is what I needed and this book absolutely delivered in that department. This is one of those books that I would re-read again.
Umm I have no strong opinions for this book. I just don't think this book is for me. I was just trying to finish it so I can finally watch the movie.
All i know is It took me forever to get through it and I don't get why this book is so long.
Things that didn't do it for me:
*I don't like all the politics
*the smut sucks. Not descriptive enough and yet there is so much of it
