Well, that was strange. I liked it, there's a lot to puzzle over with Gregor's bugification. While reading this my interpretations ranged from "Geeze, being a working adult is hard enough" to shrinking in value to his family to the insignificance of a worker in the scheme of professional life. Wedged somewhere in there is something about alienation and isolation. There's a lot of loss and feeling trapped, and I understand The Metamorphosis reflects Kafka's personal life.
