I first tried to read this book several months ago, but just couldn't get into it - I only made it about 25 pages before I set it aside. However, when I restarted it this month I enjoyed it a lot and couldn't figure out why I didn't like it the first time. I know many people didn't care for Allegiant, but I really enjoyed it. It had a different feel to it than Insurgent and I liked that - since even though I liked Insurgent it annoyed me. I think this was a good conclusion to the series. ...more

3.5. This was a hard one for me to rate. I loved books one and two. The pace on this book was a little slower for me mainly toward the middle. Also on occasion I lost which pov we were viewing as both voices sounded similar. I wasn't happy with the outcome without spoiling it for anyone else, but I think the author stayed true to her characters. Tris would of made those choices because that is exactly who she was. Reminds me of the feeling after I finished mockingjay, but this one.. this one is worse.
I am disappointed veronica :( you actually can make it into a better ending, but oh well. Poor Tris.
