This is a group for the very specific genre of Monster books. Maybe it is a mutant shark on the loose, an escaped experiment, or even something beyond our comprehension. For the books that make us listen for those creaks in the night.
I put this under Mystery and Thriller instead of Horror, Because to me a good monster book is more about the suspense than the scare.
Also, Vampires and Werewolves have their place, this is not it.
