95766 Oh, that sounds pretty cool! Something different, at any rate, as I've never seen it before. :)

And I'd love some help with the bingo - I have the template all ready, so it wouldn't be a problem for me to make it. We just need to come up with 25 or so different things to be seen on the covers.

95766 Sure, we can keep them both if you want to. I guess the biggest problem would be deciding what things need to be seen on the covers. Nothing too easy, but nothing too hard either. Hmm....

And what's a Book Pool Challenge?

95766 I think we're set for a little while, since I put the polls up a few days ago. And don't feel bad about being distracted with school. I have about three more weeks before my classes end, so I'm extremely busy with it myself. >.<

So, for next month's challenge, I had thought about doing another Book Bingo, but have a cover theme this time, like list things that need to be seen on the cover for the book to count.

What do you guys think of that?

95766 I read the first one, but haven't gotten to the second. I thought the plot was pretty predictable and the MC is kinda annoying, but it was readable. I don't know if I'll pick up the second one.

But that's just my opinion, obviously. I know of many people who've read it and loved it.

95766 I read The Mortal Instruments series before I read The Infernal Devices, but I know of some people who read the prequel series first and enjoyed it just as much. I, personally, would read Mortal Instruments first, because I feel it gave a better understanding into the fantasy world. In other words, I didn't feel like I was just flung into the story without any explanation.

Also, the last book in the Mortal Instruments series - City of Heavenly Fire - releases next month! So, you won't have to wait forever for another book to come out! XD

95766 Hi, Diane! Thanks for joining our little group, by the way! ^-^

There are several good books that were listed on your link. The Delirium Trilogy by Lauren Oliver is one of my all-time favorite dystopians - definitely worth a read! The Mortal Instruments (and the prequel series The Infernal Devices - which I'm finishing up right now) are also excellent, though they're more urban fantasy/YA than dystopian. I would also recommend Wither, by Lauren DeStefano. =)

I know it's hard finding an X book. I still need to cross mine off, too. So if you want, Jessica, you can fudge the rules a little. We won't judge. ;)

95766 Ooh, Cinder and Under the Never Sky are awesome choices!

You're lucky. I can only read and focus on one book at a time.

I'm working my way through Clockwork Prince right now.
