Way to go, Lauren. I'll really have to break down and work on the list this summer. April is project time for school. =/
BTW, way Belle Epoque good? It seems interesting, but I haven't read it yet.
And awesome Lacee. It's nice to see other people excited for it. ^-^
Jennifer wrote: "I'm not exactly sure how this works?"You post tweety books you'd be interested in reading next month and list them like we have above. Then, on the first of April, I'll partner us all up and you choose ten books for your partner to read, while they chose ten for you.

Haha! That's when the library comes in handy. ;)

So, seeing as the point system I tried this past month ended in complete disaster (I was the only one who participated. ^-^;;), I figured we'd go back to our previous method of choosing the third Book of the Month, and that's with a challenge!
Seeing as everyone loves You Pick, I Pick - and it generates a lot of interest, we'll have another one of these until I come up with something fun for next month.
The same rules apply, if you want to join post with 20 books you'd like to read. On the first of April, I'll pair everyone up and we'll choose 10 books for our partners to read!
Have fun!

Well, it looks like Darkest Minds just might be our Group Read for next month. It's in the lead in the polls, though you can't see it yet.

Karen, from all of us here at YAholics Anonymous, we'd like to give you a big thank you for being willing to talk with us this past weekend and answer our questions. It's been a blast getting to learn about your books and your community!
Thanks again! =D

Good! I'll have to be sure to read it soon! ^.^
I didn't get much time to read, but Cruel Beauty is awesome so far! I only have about 60 more pages. I'm eager to see how it ends but, alas, I have school tomorrow, so I must sleep. XD
Tracy wrote: "I just finished Wake which I didn't care for at all. Halfway finished with Partials which I am liking. I guess you win a few and you lose a few."I didn't much like Wake either. I wanted to, but... Eh.

What about Partials? Is it any good?

Did you just gain your knowledge from watching your Amish neighbors? Or did you do any other research? For instance, did you read any other Amish themed novels by other writers? Or did you research the topic through any other means?

About 2/3 of the way through. It's pretty good so far and I love the elegant writing style but, ugh, insta-love. >.>

Went and saw the movie yesterday! It was pretty good and I was pleasantly surprised. There were a few things that were left out - and any movie adaptations - but I was satisfied overall. I was convinced Shailene would ruin it (Secret Life, eeew) but she pulled off Tris pretty well.

Did you always know you wanted to be a writer? Or did the idea of writing come when the story idea did? Did you always know you wanted to write about the Amish? I know the particular literary niche is growing increasingly popular...

I'll be finishing up
this weekend and then starting on something else, though I'm not entirely sure what. I have a huge pile of books to choose from. XD

So, here's where we can talk and discuss the book we're reading during this weekend! Feel free to post your progress, what you think if the book, what you think of other's books and so on and so forth!
Enjoy, guys! :D

In your series, your male MC is Amish and your female MC is English. Did you plan it this way for a reason or did you ever consider making the female MC the Amish one and the male MC the English?
