95766 Yeah, I agree. The beginning was a but slow and it took me a while to read through it. I'm about 70 pages away from finishing now...

95766 Well, we never said they couldn't be contemporary classics, or short ones. So I guess I could think of something, lol. I've been meaning to read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn for ages, as well as Their Eyes Were Watching God.

Would we can to make it a general "color" challenge and add a few more colors? (Pink or Gray for example?) Maybe include Middle-Grade as a genre. I dunno. Just might be something different than the usual "Rainbow" Challenges we see everywhere.

Also, we're still lacking in Group Read discussion. Since there are six of us, I think it would be reasonable to assign one of us a book of the month to read and initiate discussion with others. It might help if we were the ones to stir up worthwhile discussions...

What do you guys think?

95766 Well, these challenges are a good way to work your way through them. ;)

95766 I think that sounds good! A classic would be a challenging choice. I get sooo lazy with those. XD

Haha only cause you said please :P"

Lol, thankies! :)

And yeah, it was a bummer. But there are other bookstores around I can check I guess. And the trip wasn't a complete loss. I got a hardback copy of Unearthly and a paperback copy of Shadow and Bone for 3.97 each!

95766 I wanted to get a copy of The Geography of You and Me a couple days ago but all the copies at my bookstore had dust covers that were folded funny and looked messed up. :( I wasn't going to pay $18 for a book that already looked damaged.
