I could see how the movie might drag on a bit (it is pretty long) but one has to remember that it's a movie adaptation of a really long book, too.

Also, the girl who plays Leisel is freakin' adorable! XD

I'm actually about to read that one pretty soon! My best friend said it was pretty good, though, and we tend to have to same taste in books.

Panic is contemporary, rather than Oliver's typical dystopian type stuff, so I'm guessing it might be different that what you might have read from her.

You know, I never got a chance to read that one. I know it was an option at one point when I was in elementary and middle school (we did Accelerated Reading, where we'd earn a certain amount of points for each book) but I was never forced to read it for any sort of class...

Yeah, I thought that was a bad match-up, too. Luckily, it didn't go through as a television show. I'm kinda glad. Despite the random ending of Requiem, it's still one of my all time favorite YA series, and I really wouldn't have wanted it to be torn apart. =/

Well, I'm only 100 pages in; perhaps I'll change my mind. I actually hope so - everyone seems to love this book and Gayle Forman. I'd hate to be in the minority. :/

Slowly making my way through this one. I'm really trying to like the characters, but Willem seems too preachy and Alyssa just gets on my nerves with all her complaining.

I always thought of it as super-strong electrical thunderstorms... Dunno if that's exactly what other people thought, though, lol. Like I said, it was a little mysterious at first. You kinda understand it better the further you read in the series.

Just started this one today! I wasn't able to get far, due to work but I hope to get a good deal read on Monday, when I'm off.

I'm about 30 pages in, but I'm loving it so far. I've been in the mood for contemporary lately. :)

I actually stayed up pretty late reading it, lol. I don't know what it was exactly, but I kept turning the pages till I couldn't keep my eyes open.

It reminds me a lot of Kendare Blake's writing style...
