And alrighty! I'll get the poll set up tonight.
Oh, let me know if you need help getting all the competitions set up. =)

"My mother graces me with a smile I thought was only reserved for my brothers: one of pride. They all comment on how it's nice to see me and how beautiful I look and ask where Mom bought my dress. I move like a bobblehead while my clammy fingers twist behind my back." - Crash into You by Katie McGarry
Page 299, sentences 10 and 11.
I'm kinda sad this game isn't more popular. It can be pretty hilarious. As demonstrated by the post before mine. XD

Also, I guess we need to figure out what our fourth BotM will be. Two have being voted one, one will be the choice of the winner of You Pick, I Pick challenge. But we need a fourth.
I was thinking of doing a themed sequel thing, where we vote on the sequels of the books we've read so far. We have so many firsts books, but hardly any sequels read...

Some genres and books that I recommend:
Amish Fiction: I've been fascinated by the Amish since I was a little girl. We have a Amish community within driving distance of where I live and it's not uncommon to see them at the grocery store or at the hospital. So, naturally, I love reading about the culture, too. If your at all interest in the genre, I recommend starting with any book written by Beverly Lewis. She practically pioneered the genre and does a great job of introducing characters to the world of the Amish. Incidentally, my favorite Amish series isn't by her, but by another good writer, Cindy Woodsmall and starts with the book A Season for Tending.
Christian Fiction: Anything by Karen Kingsbury. She was the one who really introduced me to the Christian Fiction genre. She's a fantastic writer and many of her books deal with real, tough issues people face. She's inspirational and really manages to capture God's message in her books. Definitely check her out if you're a Christian!
Cozy Mysteries: I really liked the Southern Sisters mysteries series by Anne George, as well as the Amish mysteries written by Vannetta Chapman.
Southern Fiction: Since I was born and raised in the south, I love reading books that take place in my backyard. Some of my favorites are Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, The Help, The Secret Life of Bees, and Bastard Out of Carolina. (Be warned, the last book is very dark and deals with issues of abuse, particularly sexual abuse. There were many times I had to put the book down because I got so sickened and frustrated. But that is precisely the reason I love it and respect it as a great work of fiction. Some of the best books, in my opinion, deal with hard issues that other authors wouldn't even touch.)
Romance/Erotica: I know, I know. But it's my guilty pleasure. XD Some of my favorites are the breathless series by Maya Banks as well as Wallbanger by Alice Clayton.
I think that's about it! I hope I helped give you some awesome titles to look into! =)

So we'll go with Book Bingo, You Pick, I Pick, Pick it For Me, and Book Pool? (I'm so failing a Book Pool right now. >.>;;)
And here's the link to last year's card: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

So, Book Bingo and Book Pool and You Pick, I Pick? Then one or the other of the first two mentioned?
Also, should I make a new Bingo card or do we want to use the one I made back last year? We've only done it once. If we make a new one, I'll need some help filling the slots. XD

I mean, seven billion people in the world and you manage to track down ONE without knowing where he lived or his last name? -__- I'm just not buying it.
But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy her writing. I found it very descriptive and almost poetic at times. I'm going to give If I Stay a try at some point.

But what other genres have you enjoyed in the past? Feel free to post your other book loves here, as well as books you'd recommend in the genres. You never know, you just mind find new friends who share your taste!

I'm also really starting to like Katie McGarry. It took me a while to get into her first book, but I absolutely loved Dare You To!
