Yup, I've found the same myself :-)

Well done, Rosemary! I'm impressed!

The Woman in White is one of my favourite books. I hope ypu'll like it too.

Clan of the Cave Bear used to be one of my favourite books :) I still love it, but now I've read SO many other good books that it's fallen a bit further down the list - I still consider it a 5-star book though :)

Oooh, you have some brilliant books on this list.
"The Golden Compass" is terrific, and much better than both the movie and the other books in the series. "Me Talk Pretty One Day" is quirky and fun, and "Jane Eyre" is one of my favourite books.
I have "The Bell Jar" and "The Color of Magic" on my to-read list as well. Not for this year's challenge though.

Good to hear, Ellen :) I started it last year, but got distracted after the first couple of chapters (I tend to do that ;) ), so it's on my list again this year.

Happy New Year! And well done on the reading :)

Ended up finishing 8 of the 12. Not too shabby, but as I usually make all 12, not too impressive either. I'll endeavour to do better next year.

Finished
World Without End and
Sorcery and Cecelia and really enjoyed both :)

Well done! You're doing a lot better than I am, that's for sure!

Finished
Sabriel a couple of days ago. Pretty good, but felt 'finished' so I have no desire to read the rest of the series.

Finished
The Lost Diary of Don Juan. A very slow read, and unfortunately not as good as I'd hoped. Finished on March 31st.

Finished
The End of Mr Y. It was VERY different from what I had expected, but I absolutely loved it! :)
The Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favourite books! I really enjoyed
The Pillars of the Earth as well.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister - I've been wanting to read both that and
Wicked.
I've read
The Nanny Diaries and though I enjoyed it, I found it a bit too similar to
The Devil Wears Prada with the mean, unreasonable boss.

Good to know, thanks. I'm not actually a huge fan of Meg Cabot, but I received this for free, so thought I might as well get it read ;-)

Looking forward to hearing what you think of Knit Two. I read Friday Night Knitting Club last year and really enjoyed it.
LOVE The Yada Yada Prayer Group. Love, love, love, love.
