I am setting a single boundary on S/O collabs: I'm not going to wait over a month anymore. I'm wasting my happiness on those collabs and I'm tired of these let-downs. I'm not letting anyone waste my energy anymore. I'm done with that. So if you're serious about doing a collab, you have two weeks to prove you mean it.I am giving five more days for a response for the following collaborations, and there will be no second chances. My feelings have been hurt by waiting so long, and I will state how long I've waited. From now on, I'm going to allow my patience to run thin.

I WAS LITERALLY COUNTING THE HOURS LAST NIGHT
After talking with a friend outside GR to calm me down and helped me realize that I've been burnt out. I've put so, so, so much time and energy on my characters, so much excitement into these role-plays I've been doing, so much effort overall. I have been giving so much into the collabs but I never got back any of that excitement, and now I feel like cutting off every single collab I have... For the past few weeks I've been feeling like everyone's leading me on, and that it's all lies when everyone says my characters are really good. I've felt like deleting every single social media account I have in existence. I feel like hurting myself because of how much emotional and mental pain this is putting me thought.I've decided that I'm going to take a strict break from not only role-playing, but also character creation, ideas of new characters, and overall Goodreads. I don't want to delete all my characters and give up on these collabs and just... I don't know, I just feel like all of my effort is being wasted, especially on collabs. I get so excited, but then I have to wait. I've been waiting on some of these collabs for longer than three weeks. I'm pretty sure everyone understand that feeling of hurt after waiting almost a month.
I'll be come for a week, and no earlier than that. Goodreads has become unhealthy for me. It's been hurting me. Look at my sleep scheduled. I've been going to bed at 6 in the morning. This site is damaging me. So...yeah... This is literally for my own well-being. I didn't mean to sound so rude about it, but I really don't know any other way to put it.
In all honesty, this happened once before, and it took four years for me to come back from a break. I don't want to leave that long again. You all mean way too much to me, and I hope you all know that. I've been crying a lot because of the thought of not talking to any of you for so long. This is going to be a hard hit for me mentally. This site is an addiction. The only way to heal myself in some sort of way is going cold turkey. Please, do not try to contact me in any form, that includes any of my account links that I've shared, which has mostly been Pinterest. Contacting me is not going to help me whatsoever, it'll only make things worse.
But yeh, I'll be back soon! (Even though it'll feel like over a year. ;u; )
