I can never not adore him.

It's something I learned from readimg a story. Person A was feeling as if they cared more than Person B, but it wasnt the case. Petson B was a very stoic person, they had a difficult time expressing emotion, even when alone with Person A. (Person B had been teased a lot when they were younger, so they faked it til they could make it.)
I don't remember where or what the story was about but I only remember that part. It was a long time ago. ;u; I don't even remember what format it took.

But yeh, besides that, it's always difficult to actually tell. Just kinda...watch his actions? Might help. If there's no actual sign besides that, I'd probably think of breaking it off.

I don't approve of intimate relationships under the age of 16, but I try to help if there's any way I can.

Has he done anything that hints it? Think of little things. Some aren't "obvious" with showing their affection.
Either that or he is actually lying and using you. If this is the case, you can do so much better than him. You're an amazing person, and deserve so much more than him.
