The readathon's almost over for me! I wish I had made this a full week long, because I had very little reading time over the last few days (including today), but I only work a few hours tomorrow and the next day so I'll have more free time. Hmm... would anyone else be interested in "unofficially" extending this readathon to Tuesday night? It's okay if not, but if anyone wants to join me, I think I'm gonna do it 😊💕
Between family time, cooking, and FINALLY catching up on my blog comments (I hadn't caught up on them in 2 months and had over 200 to reply to, whew), I didn't read anything else today! But I don't have much of anything planned the next few days so 🤞
I was super busy yesterday, but I did manage to read a novella! It wasn't on my original TBR, but whatever. 😂 I read Wolf Signs and gave it 4 stars. Today's also been busy but I started Broken and made some progress on Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?: Big Questions from Tiny Mortals About Death.
Yeeeeee I'm so glad you're all joining! I have a good feeling about this readathon! 😊 My TBR is pretty tentative and VERY over-zealous, buuuuut to be fair, a lot of these are novellas 🤷♀️

COMPLETED READS:
Helloooooo, lovelies — long time, no readathon! I'm sorry these have grown so far spaced apart, but hopefully most of you will be able to join in on this one. I know not all of us are based in the US, but for those of us who are, hopefully a lot of us will be looking at a long weekend at home (or in the car traveling) to spend some time reading! And for those of you who aren't in the US, well, let me know if you need absence notes for your employers and/or professors. 👀😂Seriously, though — this readathon will start at 12:00AM (your time zone) Wednesday, November 27th and will end at 11:59PM (your time zone) Sunday, December 1st. In typical Unexpected Readathon fashion, it's coming up quickly, but I still tried to give you a little more notice than I normally do. 😈
No challenges this readathon! Just read whatever you'd like, whether it's a lot or a little, and post your TBRs and updates below! Hugs to everyone! I can't wait to see what you're all reading!
Yeesh, so sorry for the lack of replies on my end, loves! :( I swear, sometimes I really do think I'm cursed, lol. Every time we plan one of these, I get so excited, and then things come up and I don't even have time to be online, much less read! This weekend we had some unexpected home repairs and loads of cleaning to do, and then I woke up sick today, plus I've been working on a ton of homework for my classes. I did have to read a MG book for my children's literature class earlier today and will have to read another one this evening, though, so once I've finished both of those I'll come back and update my numbers! And I've been veeeery slowly chipping away at an ARC over the weekend.
WOOOOO happy first day of the readathon, loves! I did quite a bit of reading after midnight last night as well as a bit before work. I just got home from work and am probably about to put on an audiobook while I clean! What's everyone reading first? (Oh and I'll post my updates comment this evening when the first day is finished in my time zone!)

No worries love, it doesn't start until next week! :D
Hello, my loves! I'm sorry it's been so long since our last readathon, but life was kicking my butt for a little while there. We are super due for another readathon, but I wanted to give everyone a little bit of notice this time, so we won't be starting until 12:00AM on Thursday, August 29th, and will go until 11:59PM on Monday, September 2nd!As always, a few OPTIONAL challenges:
1) Something you've been anticipating a while
2) A book with a love story (it can be very minor or very heavy — your call!)
3) A book with a cover you LOVE!
Post your TBR whenever you're ready, and have fun, lovelies! ♥
I didn't get to read much Friday or Saturday, but hopefully I can knock some good page counts out today before the readathon ends! Is anyone planning on continuing from this on to the Reading Rush?
Steph [They/Them] wrote: "I think i'm going to bow out of the readathon, sorry. Catch up on some tv or something before The Reading Rush. I think I need a short break."That's okay, you gotta put self-care first! <3

You totally can! I change my TBR mid-readathon almost every time 😂
I meant to update this morning for yesterday's progress, but I've been super busy and out of the house almost all day! I really wish the NoSleep podcast episodes were on GR, because I listened to 4 of them today. 😂 Yesterday, I read half of Dead to the World and also miiiight have binged a really trashy-but-fun fanfic (No Homo) for a show/series I've never even seen or read. o_o I regret nothing. (Okay, I might have a few regrets. 😂)
I've got a long TBR, but about half of these, I'm already halfway through (or close to it), so I'm hoping to knock them all out.TBR →

Hello, lovelies! ♥ I know it's been a while since our last readathon, and I apologize for that (life's been so busy this summer!), but I thought this would be a good time for another WEEK-LONG READATHON! I know the Reading Rush (formerly BookTubeAThon) starts on the 22nd, and I didn't want these to overlap, but I'm personally going to take the next 2 weeks to try to get back into my reading groove, and was hoping you all would want to join me! :DThis readathon will begin at 12:00AM (your time zone) Monday, July 15th and will end at 11:59PM (again, your time zone!) Sunday, July 21st.
A few OPTIONAL challenges for this readathon:
1) Read a short book (less than 200pg)
2) Read a debut or "new-to-you" author
3) Read a book with a plant or tree on the cover
Post your TBR whenever you're ready, and have fun, lovelies! ♥
I'm starting to think I jinx myself every time I host one of these. 😂 Every single readathon, something different happens and messes up my reading! I've been sick as hell since Monday and while I'm feeling a lot better tonight, I still don't quite feel up to reading. I'll still update whenever I make some progress, though!
