Yay, Mark! So happy to see you here! ♥ You aren't required to post goals, or even a TBR if you don't want to - it's all totally up to you. And it's absolutely fine to start the books before the readathon begins!

The way I usually format my progress post is like this:

day 1:
x pages read
x books finished

day 2:
x pages read
x books finished

And so on... and then, at the end of the readathon:
x pages read
*list of books finished*

Even if you were 90% into a book before the readathon started, and only read the final 10% during the readathon, you can count the book for your readathon progress. 😊 We're REALLY chill around here, lol!!

No dumb questions, don't worry - I'm glad you can join us! :) There's no theme, just the one optional prompt (read a book by a Native American, First Nations, and/or Indigenous author). Anything you want to read during the readathon is fine, whether it fits the prompt(s) or not!

I personally usually pick a book for the prompt(s), and then everything else I read is just what was already on my TBR for that month, or whatever I'm in the mood for! :D

Hi, everyone — it's time for another readathon!

I was planning on just making this a weekend readathon since the last one was a whole week, but given that quite a lot of our group members are in the US and might be starting their weekend a little early for the holiday, I thought we'd start this one a day early, too!

This readathon will begin at 12:00AM (your time) on Thursday, November 25th and end at 11:59PM (your time) on Sunday, November 28th.

For this round, we just have one optional prompt:
🍁 read a book by a Native American, First Nations, and/or Indigenous author*

Post your TBR and progress updates whenever you're ready, here or in the Discord server (or both)!

If you would like an invite to the Discord server, please message me here on Goodreads or comment below and I'll DM you an invite link!

* Not only is November in the US Native American Heritage Month, but there's also the fact that Thanksgiving has some really ugly associations tied to it. I'm not here to shame people for celebrating, but I'd love to see us take a little time to support some incredible Indigenous authors during this readathon. While NAHM and Thanksgiving do pertain specifically to Native American and First Nations authors, I wanted to open this up to an opportunity for our non-US-based participants to support the Indigenous authors from your parts of the world, too.

If you need reading suggestions, here is a Goodreads list of nearly 150 books by Indigenous authors!

Hi, everyone — it's time for another readathon! We're going for a whole week this time! My birthday is October 16th, so I'm hoping to really set some quiet time aside for myself to get some serious reading done. 🥳

This readathon will begin at 12:00AM (your time) on Monday, October 11th and end at 11:59PM (your time) on Sunday, October 17th.

As always, we have some optional prompts:
🎃 read something spooky or something that makes you think of Halloween
🎃 read something recommended to you by someone else (this could be from a friend, booktube, whatever you like — you can even check a friend's GR shelves and find something they gave a high rating!)

Post your TBR and progress updates whenever you're ready, here or in the Discord server (or both)!

If you would like an invite to the Discord server, please message me here on Goodreads or comment below and I'll DM you an invite link!
