I sadly didn't read much today! π I did finish my audiobook of The Titan's Curse, though. I'm gonna try to stay off of social media as much as possible for the next couple of days and get some serious reading done!

My TBR is...
β¨ Cinderella Is Dead {currently reading; Black author & queer rep}
β¨
β¨
β¨
β¨ A Song Below Water {Black author}
β¨ Girl, Serpent, Thorn {queer rep}
β¨
β¨ Beach Read {currently reading}
β¨ The Boyfriend Project {Black author}
β¨ My Dark Vanessa
β¨

You're more than welcome to! β₯ Welcome!

Ooooh I feel honored that you picked this for your first readathon, Mark! :D I don't remember GALCB having any major queer rep, but I'll have to double check because I'm reading the second book right now (Take a Hint, Dani Brown) which features Chloe's sister Dani, and she's bi!

This one is going from 12:00AM (your time) Friday, June 12th, to 11:59PM (your time) Sunday, June 21st. The challenges are...
π» read a book with LGBTQIAP+ representation in honor of Pride Month!
π» read a book by a Black author in honor of the Black Lives Matter movement, ongoing protests, and countless innocent lives lost.*
* I try to keep things light here, but this is not something I can avoid mentioning. I am a huge supporter of the protests and a strong believer that all lives can't matter until BLACK lives matter. This isn't up for debate and I will not hesitate to act if anyone posts racist responses. I would love to keep this a positive space, though, so let's focus on supporting, respecting, and loving each other, please! β₯ And remember, we wouldn't even have Pride without protests, riots, and brave Black trans women.
You can absolutely combine the challenges, so if you would like to read a book by a Black author with LGBTQIAP+ rep, that would be amazing! And, as always, these challenges are optional and you're free to just read whatever you'd like, though I do hope you'll take this opportunity to show some love to the Black and queer communities. β₯
And that's it! Stepping off my soapbox now β I love you all and I can't wait to see your TBRs! Feel free to post them as soon as you like!

IT'S FINALLY TIME FOR ANOTHER UNEXPECTED READATHON!!! *throws confetti*
This one is going from 12:00AM (your time) May 23rd to 11:59PM (your time) May 25th. The challenges are...
β¨ read something that makes you happy (whether that's an old favorite, something swoon-y, something funny, or maybe murder and political intrigue makes you happy... you do you, babes!)
β¨ read something recommended by a friend (it doesn't have to have specifically been recommended to you β it could just be something one of your friends, fave booktubers, fave reviewers, etc. gave a high rating!)
And that's it! Just 2 quick challenges this time, totally optional as always, and you're more than welcome to pick the same book for both of them. Most importantly, just HAVE FUN and feel free to post your TBR below while we wait for the readathon to begin!
