DAY 4 UPDATE:
pages read → 0
books completed → 0
Nada. :/ I had a bad depression and anxiety spike and spent most of the day sleeping or mindlessly scrolling social media. I'm hoping today is better!
TOTAL SO FAR:
pages read → 495
books completed → 2
DAY 3 UPDATE:
pages read → 75

Yesterday was a very minimal reading day. Oops. 😂

books completed → 2
DAY 2 UPDATE:

A little late updating this since day 3 is actually almost over. I read Just Like That yesterday and it was so good!

DAY 1 UPDATE:
pages read → 100

I sadly didn't read much today! 😅 I did finish my audiobook of The Titan's Curse, though. I'm gonna try to stay off of social media as much as possible for the next couple of days and get some serious reading done!

I read some of it a few months ago but I want to restart it and read the wh..."Ooooh I feel honored that you picked this for your first readathon, Mark! :D I don't remember GALCB having any major queer rep, but I'll have to double check because I'm reading the second book right now (Take a Hint, Dani Brown) which features Chloe's sister Dani, and she's bi!
Hello, lovelies! I promised a June readathon, and I am here to deliver. Because our last few readathons were just weekend-long ones, I thought it would be fun to do a long readathon this time: 10 days! That said, if you can't participate for the entire readathon, PLEASE feel free to only join us for as long as you can. This one is going from 12:00AM (your time) Friday, June 12th, to 11:59PM (your time) Sunday, June 21st. The challenges are...
🌻 read a book with LGBTQIAP+ representation in honor of Pride Month!
🌻 read a book by a Black author in honor of the Black Lives Matter movement, ongoing protests, and countless innocent lives lost.*
* I try to keep things light here, but this is not something I can avoid mentioning. I am a huge supporter of the protests and a strong believer that all lives can't matter until BLACK lives matter. This isn't up for debate and I will not hesitate to act if anyone posts racist responses. I would love to keep this a positive space, though, so let's focus on supporting, respecting, and loving each other, please! ♥ And remember, we wouldn't even have Pride without protests, riots, and brave Black trans women.
You can absolutely combine the challenges, so if you would like to read a book by a Black author with LGBTQIAP+ rep, that would be amazing! And, as always, these challenges are optional and you're free to just read whatever you'd like, though I do hope you'll take this opportunity to show some love to the Black and queer communities. ♥
And that's it! Stepping off my soapbox now — I love you all and I can't wait to see your TBRs! Feel free to post them as soon as you like!
Welcome, everyone! Does anyone have any ideas for how soon you'd like to see another readathon? I miiiight be thinking about a longer one to kick off Pride month... 👀

It's 11:53pm here on Monday night, but I wasn't feeling well (nothing big, no worries) and slept most of the day away. 😂 So I'm giving myself until I go to sleep which probably won't be until 4 or 5am! I'll update with my final totals in the morning!
Day 2 here as of a couple of hours ago! For day 1, I completed:✨ 144pg - The Dollhouse Family
✨ 168pg - The Low, Low Woods

Hi, everyone! I'm so glad you're all excited, I am too! I haven't done a readathon in a while and this weekend feels like a good time to just curl up with as many fun books as possible. ♥ I can't wait to see what everyone reads! I think I'm going to wait until Friday night to make my TBR since I have way too many current reads going on right now!
Hi, everyone! Oh my gosh. I'm honestly not having a great day and coming back online to see so many new faces has just improved my evening SO much. I'm so happy you're all here 😭💞 Thank you for joining and I hope you all have fun!!
Hi, friends! Long time, no see. I'm so sorry I haven't hosted a readathon in this group in, uh... *checks notes* SIX MONTHS?! Sheesh. Life got away from me. I'm sure a lot of you can relate lately, but that's not what I wanted to talk about today!IT'S FINALLY TIME FOR ANOTHER UNEXPECTED READATHON!!! *throws confetti*
This one is going from 12:00AM (your time) May 23rd to 11:59PM (your time) May 25th. The challenges are...
✨ read something that makes you happy (whether that's an old favorite, something swoon-y, something funny, or maybe murder and political intrigue makes you happy... you do you, babes!)
✨ read something recommended by a friend (it doesn't have to have specifically been recommended to you — it could just be something one of your friends, fave booktubers, fave reviewers, etc. gave a high rating!)
And that's it! Just 2 quick challenges this time, totally optional as always, and you're more than welcome to pick the same book for both of them. Most importantly, just HAVE FUN and feel free to post your TBR below while we wait for the readathon to begin!
