Book: Scavenge the Stars
Author: Tara Sim
Rating: 4/5 Stars
Basically a gender bent version of the Count of Monte Cristo. Characters and story was overall interesting and a good read.

I'll update on Monday when I'm back home.

Book: Black Heart
Author: Holly Black
3 Stars
I read this series ages ago, and remembered enjoying it. I always love a book with a clever protagonist and lots twists.

Book: Red Glove
Author: Holly Black
Date Complete: 7 April 2022
Rating 3/5 Stars
Another re-read continuing a series.
I recently decided to try listening to Audio books just to see how I felt about it. And given my work has me working by myself, I figured it would be nice to switch what I'm listening to up. At first I wasn't a fan of it just because I like the experience of see the words, but as I've gotten used to it I've found I haven't minded it at all and actually like the switch up.

Book: White Cat

Another re-read, but still as fun as I remember. :)

Book: A Relative Murder
Author: Jude Deveraux
Date Completed: 4 April 2022
Rating: 3/5 Stars
Interesting murder mystery.
Also, for the colour cards I'm not really attached to having a particular card, and given my reading is so mood based, there is no guarantee I would read one. I'm perfectly fine with my books being slotted in where they are needed.

Book: Delirium
Author: Lauren Oliver
Book Completed: April 2, 2022
2/5 Stars
I'm not sure how to describe how much I disliked this book. The main character was incredibly annoying. And the authors way of describing things was either over the top and I really wished she would move on, or it was repetitive. It gets 2 stars merely for the fact that I finished it and the core plot was interesting.

I have 3 different ones I was working on that could easily be finished, or I see that there a couple of slots that are still not covered on the sheet. I have a green cover - five that could be covered or I have a potential 0 as well.
I can do either. If not I can save what I have for April.

Book:The Burning Kingdoms
Sally Green
Rating: 3/5 Stars
This book for some reason for me felt like it had a really slow start. The end was interesting and everything finally came together interestingly enough, but oof it was rough getting there.

Book: Vow of Thieves
Author: Mary E. Pearson
Date finished: 18 March 2022
Rating: 4/5 stars
It is the sequel to Dance of Thieves and basically does a good job of finishing off the story in a satisfying way. But also leaves things open enough if the author wants to go back and add to the story.

Book: Dance of Thieves
Author: Mary E. Pearson
Date Finished: March 17, 2022
Rating: 4/5 Stars
This is a re-read for me. When I first started reading this series I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as much and then got hooked by characters and the story. Definitely worth the read.

Book: The Prison Healer
Author: Lynette Noni
Rating: 4/5 stars

Book: Unwrap My Heart: or It's Time For Mummies
Author: Alex Falcone
5/5 Stars
This book isn't necessarily a literary masterpiece, but it is hilarious and ridiculous, and that is enough for a 5 star rating. I enjoyed reading this book. It makes fun of the girl falling in love with a monster type of tropes which makes it so delightful. So if you thought Twilight was over the top, I would highly recommend this book.

And yes the paperwork has been maddening sorting everything out has not been fun, and then all the waiting to find out what's getting fixed or not.

Work got really busy last week and then this week I was in a car accident (no injuries for everyone involved thankfully).
So life has been a bit hectic.
I have one more book I'll probably finish by the end of the month, but that might be it from me for the rest of the month, hopefully things will normal out in the upcoming weeks.

Book: Into the Dying Light
Author: Katy Rose Pool

Another series finished (yay), the story was interesting and the series ended well. I would recommend reading this series overall.

Book: As the Shadow Rises
Author: Katy Rose Pool
Rating: 4/5 Stars
I always love in the story when the characters after doing their seemingly own thing end up connecting to each other. I mean you know it's going to happen, but it always feels satisfying when it does happen. For a middle book in a series this book was actually quite good, and the pace didn't slow down from the first book to this one.
