I am definitely a mood reader, so I can more or less make either list work. So I say go with what works for everyone else. I'm flexible either way.

Book: There Will Come a Darkness
Author: Katy Rose Pool

Rating: 4/5 Stars

This took me a bit longer than I anticipated, but I ended up enjoying this quite a bit. The characters were all interesting and the author spent time developing each of them. I always enjoy a book that has multiple perspectives.

This book is actually a re-read for me, although it's been a few years. The book has a simple story, that's easy to follow and interesting, with a good overall message.

If I don't like the first book generally I won't continue with a series, but if I put time and effort into reading the next book in a series even if I disliked it or wasn't a fan, I don't like leaving the series partially finished so I will finish a series. And to be fair in Trilogies I tend to struggle with the middle book in the series the most anyway because usually that book is used as the build up to the final book, so sometimes it's just not as interesting.

Book: Blessed Monsters
Author: Emily A. Duncan

Rating: 4/5
Final book in the series, was fast paced, the character interactions were really fun and interesting in this book, and a lot of character development occurred. Made the book more interesting as the author fixed a lot of the flaws from the previous books.
If you enjoy the first one and make your way through the second one, this is definitely worth the read.

Book: Ruthless Gods

Rating: 3/5

Overall, I enjoyed the book. But I think I have a few more complaints with this one. The plot of the book overall all the characters will more or less betray one another for their own motivations. That's it. I mean more or less it's the middle book in a trilogy, so I feel like expectations can sometimes only go so far.

Wicked Saints

I enjoyed it overall although there were some parts that frustrated me about one of the main characters. But the book overall managed to capture and keep my attention with plenty of action and twists. My overall rating for the book 3.5/5 Stars

I love the idea of posting recommendations for our reads.

Also, every year I do this I am always extremely impressed by how everyone can plan their reads. I pretty much read based on mood or what currently catches my attention, so while I have several books that I think I'll read there is a strong possibility I will not read them at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My name is Jen. This is my 5th year (I think) doing UNO, I really look forward to this challenge every year.

Currently I'm reading The Coward by Stephen Aryan and I think it actually might be a new fave.

I tend to read Fantasy, Sci-Fi, YA, some mystery, and thrillers as well honestly depends on my reading mood.

Ooh current favourite series is the Spellslinger series.
