88432 One more question-- I have a yellow book here. I don't think it will work for the remaining numbers, but it would work for 3. Would it work to rearrange cards or should I find a different yellow book?

Also, please see post above about 9-Red. I'm almost done with that one.

I did read #1 Lily Bard...does that count? 😉

UPDATE: If we need to connect to Lily Bard books--the books are set in Shakespeare, Arkansas. Main character is very into Marshall Arts. She cleans houses for a living. She has moved to Arkansas to overcome a traumatic past. I know book 3 involves a Christmas wedding.

88432 Assuming we think this is red, I can use it for Red - 9 (location New York City)
Good Riddance by Elinor Lipman

I used an actual photo of the book, and tineye called it Coral. When I used the Goodreads image of the audiobook jacket, tineye called it Cinnabar (red). It looks red to me. :) I'm listening to the audio in my car this week.

I wonder if the number 40 includes the option to duplicate up to ten tasks for bonus points.

88432 For whatever it's worth, I can cover 9B1, 11B1, 12B1, and 13B1 by the weekend. If we like the B2 stream better, I'm sure these would work for something there as well.

88432 Thanks so much, Poongothai!

You probably saw this, but just in case it's helpful, on the mini-challenge spreadsheet, there are tabs at the end for every possible path...just do you don't do extra work.

I also saw that if we complete everything, we can do any ask twice for bonus points (up to ten tasks). I will finish my Lily Bard book shortly and will update books read ASAP.

88432 Finished Bitter Orange by Claire Fuller for the #7 green cover. It works for several tasks on the B path...too many to list. I'll update when we know our stream.

Yes, I'd love to know which tasks all the way through. I don't have a preference. To me, B2 looks easier than B1 for the first choice, but further down the line the B1 tasks look easier than the B2 (especially at the end).

88432 I will also be fine with you all just telling me what's needed. With what I am hearing so far and what I have started for books, these appear to be three decent options:

B-B1b-B1ba (or B1bb...they are similar)

B-B2-B2b-B2bb

A-A2-A2b-A2bb

To me, the B stream seemed like it had better choices. There's was a whole section in the A stream on connecting to the Lily Bard series and that seems challenging to me (Titles are Shakespeare's Landlord, Shakespeare's Trollop, Shakespeare's Counselor, etc.)

But if someone feels strongly, please speak up! I'm just trying to start the discussion so we can choose books. I don't have a strong preference for or against any particular stream.

That's a really good point. The number of pages options appear in both A and B streams, but there's another option for both streams that would probably be easier...unless someone's reading a long book already.
