Maybe I should ask if you thought the internet dress was blue and black or gold and white. 😉

I'm not sure if it's my phone or my eyes, but I would've gone green, Lexi. If you have the book in front of you...trust your gut.

I'm fine with captains choosing. Maybe one of the longer recipes so you have more choice of words? Totally up to you and whatever you think will be easiest.

I'm starting a couple more blue books. I don't think we really need them, but I have them here and they happen to be blue. Let me know if anyone isn't loving their blue selections.

Oops - I think I entered by first April book on the March spreadsheet. Thanks to whoever moved it over to the April tab for me!

That story is awesome, Lexi. 😂

I might try this one...
Coco Pinchard's Big Fat Tipsy WeddingThis series is light and funny, which sounds perfect right now. I'm not sure which numbers of yellow it will work for... definitely 8. Maybe some other ones.
What color do you think this is?
It's a light blue-green. Tineye wasn't helpful. It's supposed to be the sky behind the tree, so I'm tempted to say blue. But I also see green. 🤦
Anyway, I have the physical copy of this and might read it. Let me know if you think it's a color.

I'll also read
Midnight at the Blackbird Café. Looks like the characters work for 1 and 9... For one of the Draw Four cards.
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to read much in April because my schedule was so crazy. Turns out it's much more open now. Let me know if there are things were having trouble filling.

I can take Blue 1 with a book by Yoko Ogawa.
I'll look up some character names and settings to see what others ones might work.

I have sooo many blue books. Let me see what numbers they'll work for.

Hanging in there. Did we get things covered that we were needing for challenges?

I'm looking through what I've got here. If anyone was thinking about reading
Evvie Drake Starts Over, I thought it was pretty good and would fit with sports, I think. (Baseball)

The news tonight about Italy was absolutely heartbreaking.

I'm trying to learn to be flexible. Things seem to be changing constantly. I work at a library and we did close today, but staff is still working...for now. The bigger personal concern for my family is that we have a senior in high school...waiting to hear if he will get to go back to school ever, if there will be prom, graduation ceremony, etc. Will they still get to graduate on time if they can't go back to finish coursework? All those great things....
Thanks for entering my books while I was gone. I'm back home now and the SSs seem to be working fine. That was weird.

One more completed:
The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary
Title starts with F
Author LN O'Leary
Character FN Tiffy
Character FN Katherine
Mini challenge: published in 2019

Thanks, Lexi! I'm sorry you're stressed. These are unsettling times for sure. I've never been so anxious to get back home.

Completed post (it's on my Uno shelf):
The Snowman Killer by Wendy Meadows
Mini challenge--cozy mystery
Regular SS:
Title starts with S
Character last name Edwin
Character first name Phillip
Note: I do not recommend this one. 😉

Hello-- I'm reading, but for some reason I can't open the spreadsheets. I am staying in a hotel, so I'm not sure if I changed a setting while traveling or if there's an issue with the wifi. It tells me I'm not connected to the internet, but I'm able to update here, so obviously I am. If it's ok, I'll list my books here. If no one has time to post to the spreadsheet, I can do it when I get home Friday night. At least you'll know what I've read though.

I work in a public library. We're still open, but limiting programs, large meetings. I'm hoping if we need to close, we'll be able to offer something like "hold pick up only" where we would gather materials for people, but they couldn't come hang out for the day. I might be dreaming though...
