Only 31 days, 1 hour and 53 minutes till UNO 2024 starts. ππ"When I got this notification, I just saw the 1 hr and 53 minutes part and thought I'd missed sign ups. π±

I finished
Sworn to Silence. I'm looking at the countdown to see if I think I can finish anything else.
That might be it for me. I could probably push through and finish Zero Days, but I'm not seeing an obvious fit for our remaining categories.

I'm struggling with
Zero Days. I am a Ruth Ware super fan, so I'm surprised I can't get into this. I'm switching to something else and will try again later. Maybe just not the right time for this book.

Thanks, Lexi. I just read
An Elderly Lady Is Up to No Good for a book club at work. I'm trying to figure out where it could fit...or if there's a way to reshuffle to use it. The MC lives alone, leads a normally quiet life, is very old, lives in Sweden, book has a skull on the cover. I'm wondering if there's a possibility with this: MC deceives people by pretending to be meek, helpless before causing trouble.

The Christmas Pact. I just didn't get the hype. π€·

I just finished the book about the platypus. It was weird, but not the worst book I've read for this challenge. π

https://marymacs.com/Sorry I have no leads on housing. Good luck with the search!

I'm debating how dedicated to this challenge I want to be. π My son has the entire Platypus Police Squad series here. They are middle grade, but all over 25,000 words on arbookfind. I think they are pretty silly, but there are a bunch of unusual animals in them. Maybe I'll try one and it can be something to chat about.

I will be leaving for a few days in California the middle of this week. I won't have a computer, but will check in with just my phone. I'll be anxious to see the last mini.

Are we still supposed to be checking in on the team thread once a week? I know we're almost done, but I'm curious who is still here?
