88432 I have The Unhoneymooners planned as my first read in February. It should work for yellow 3 (the "unhoneymoon" takes place in Hawaii). Do you want me to go ahead and enter it now?

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

As we get closer, let me know if there are any special cards we're struggling with. I can always wander the library..

I saw in some of the pre-Uno chit chat that we aren't using tineye for the book covers this year. I about did a cartwheel. Sometimes it was great, but we had a few last year that were so obviously the right color and tin-eye would call it "light burgundy" or the picture we were using would look orange, but the actual book cover looked fire engine red. Anyway - I think that will make it much easier for people.

As a team - not you individually. ;) Trust me -- it'll be fun. :)

88432 I thought it was fun to have some flexibility to read whatever I wanted throughout the month and hope that it would fit somewhere, but I'm open to whatever everyone else wants. I don't want it to be extra work for the captains. There's a lot to manage for the three of you.

I have a book here that will work for the yellow 3 that I've intentionally not started.

88432 Team Captains - do you plan on having people "claim" all the cards at the start of the month...or just the color cards? I've only participated one other time, but I remember that some teams planned everything and others just kind of filled in as they went. Either works for me - just curious!

88432 Hi everyone! This is my second year doing this challenge. I liked it so much last year, I felt like I went through withdrawal when it was over. I'd see an amazing looking book with a red cover and think, no... it's June. I'll wait. 😂

I live with my husband, three boys, a guinea pig, and a beagle. I work in a public library, so find myself thinking about these challenges throughout the day... maybe more than I should!

88432 Yes, thanks for letting me join late and catching me up. I'm still confused, but less than I used to be. 😂

88432 I did finish a couple more over the weekend, but didn't take time to look up all the cards because there's no point once we've done all the tasks, right?

88432 Actually...it looks like Amani-Bz just reported finishing a 3-Yellow.

Are we done after Camilla's yellow?

88432 So if we finish other books, do we need to report them? No extra hands or anything? And yes, I'll finish my yellow this weekend. 😊

88432 I'm in the same boat...this looks interesting to me, but I'm just not sure I'll get it finished.

Spelled (The Storymakers, #1) by Betsy Schow

Edit: this is shorter and I've read the rest of the series. I'll see if it's available at the library tonight. I have no idea if I'll get to it, but I'll try to at least check it out and have it ready...unless someone else has time.

I've read this already, but if someone has time and likes YA, this was a fairly short, easy read with a mirror on the cover."

Apologies! I remember it being a quick read, but that's not very short.

88432 I just posted a book that will work for the duplicate in the mini challenge and will work for any of the remaining number cards.

Good luck with your audit, Poongothai. That sounds stressful.

88432 I know I just said I wouldn't start anything new, but this is on hold for me at the library. Let me know if I should prioritize it. (Sunglasses) Sixth Grave on the Edge (Charley Davidson, #6) by Darynda Jones

Edit--I think I was confused. Looks like we don't need sunglasses? If we need anything else from this book, let me know. Otherwise, it might wait.

88432 Curious Incident of the Dog....works for Reverse as I have read it.

I am almost done with a book of short stories that covers several cards. Hopefully, it'll be a good one to fill in the gaps.

Your duplicate comment made me realize I should keep reporting on the mini-tasks that are already completed as we're allowed to duplicate up to ten of them.

I have several books started. I'll work on finishing those up before starting anything new.
