I really like that it entices me to read books I normally might not pick up, when I'm searching for a particular color or other card to f..."Last year I struggled with the creative aspect of uno. I like the spreadsheets better. 😉 Luckily, I had teammates who were good at making up space recipes. 😂
Mary wrote: "What is everyone's favorite thing about uno?"It's fun getting to know people and talking books, but there's something oddly satisfying about seeing how many different ways I can make a book work into a hand.

I may read Dear Edward at some point. I had started it in December, but got busy and had to return it to the library after just a few pages. I don't really remember what was happening now, so I'll probably just start over when my name comes back around. Anyone else read it?

I'm impressed that you all plan out books this far in advance. I'm much more of an impulse reader. I'll think I know that I'm planning to read, but I work in a public library...so I'm constantly finding new things, checking them out, bringing them home, etc

I just finished
The K Team and I should have DNF'd it. The main character was grating on me and that did not improve by finishing it.

Tina wrote: "Right now I'm reading The woman in cabin 10. It's really good and I wonder how it will end!"I love Ruth Ware!

P.S. All my books are blue. 😆🤦

I think I could read for the Green 4. I have this one to read and Charles Fraith is a recurring character in the series.

Hello everyone--
I have played Uno a couple of other times. I'm finding this year that my reading goes in waves due to my work schedule. I'm nervous about April, but I'll just try to read shorter books that month. 😊

Federica wrote: "Would Anxious People by Fredrick Backman be ok for 4 Yellow? Anxious People"I just finished this and I loved it. 😊 It will count for reverse.

Oh my-- you miss a day and you miss a lot! I'm reading through posts and catching up.

Wow--that's exciting! This was a hard year for this challenge, but I think it helped motivate me to keep reading. I can't believe we won! Thanks for keeping us going, captains!

I'll probably finish two more before the 30th. Possibly three, but I think I can definitely wrap up two of these.

Did you like it? I found it fun."I did. And a little sad. John Steinbeck always has these trippy little chapters that don't really say anything about the story, but kind of also say everything. I had forgotten that. There's that random chapter toward the end about the gopher making his perfect home, but ending up alone. Not very many people could pull that off. :)

Finished Cannery Row. Looks like Lexi has also read it, so there's another reverse.

I'm done with my 8 yellow... Just haven't had time today to review and update.

I am up to about a book a day, but the whole team is needed if we are going to finish our..."I've had a horrible habit of starting book after book, leaving them all unfinished. I've been trying to finish up some of them this week. I'll finish my yellow 8 today.

I just finished A Fatal Grace by Louise Penny. I hadn't claimed it as a color card, but it works for blue. I noted it on the spreadsheet, just in case we end up needing another blue.
