I usually use the browser to make GR posts rather than the app. It's more flexible.
Edited the book list on Post #71. Hope there's something in there you'll like, Mikayla.

How do you feel about general horror elements? If that's a no I can re-edit the books. Do you also want absolutely no romance? I admit I was just searching for all possible kids' books on my read list for that post.

oops hang on i think spiders actually rule out some of those books

PARTIAL LIST OF CHILDREN'S BOOKS ON MY READ SHELF.
(I think some of these have been cross-shelved as YA but none of them are more complex or deal with subject matter worse than the Harry Potter books?)
Under spoiler tag because this is now a long post and unnecessary scrolling is annoying;
(view spoiler)[Sortof-Earth Medieval with Fantasy elements:
The Book of Three
The Squire's Tale
Black Horses for the King (Not a fantasy, but based on Arthurian Myth)
The Ruins of Gorlan
Present-day Fantasy:
The Warrior Heir
Archer's Goon
Space/Future Stuff:
Skyward
Not technically a fantasy but I wouldn't call it realistic per se:
Holes
Fantasy mostly set in another world, usually Medieval:
Sandry's Book
Minor Mage
The Rithmatist
The Lives of Christopher Chant
The Wee Free Men
The Amazing Maurice & His Educated Rodents
Dragonsong
The Last Unicorn
Mystery:
Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief
Fairytale Retellings:
The Wide-Awake Princess
Goose Chase
Edit: I've read all of these books so they can work for reverse too.
Edit 2: I've taken out the horror and the romance. There are still some books with will-they-won't-they-have-a-crush elements though. Hope that's okay- it's not anything more than what's in Percy Jackson. (hide spoiler)]

Sorry, I'm not getting many clues about what you'd like from your shelves. have you finished the rest of the the Narnia/A Series of Unfortunate Events books?

Do you mind stories set in medieval fantasy worlds?

Okay so if you like Riordan, you can maybe check out the Rick Riordan Presents imprint? It's basically the same concept as PJO except with different mythologies. RR himself has written stories based on non greco-roman myths, like
The Red Pyramid and
The Sword of Summer.
My friend sent me a full list of RR imprint books I just need to go find it hang on...

Oops hang on I'll go update the sheet

Hang on, I thought we weren't using tineye and going for group consensus this year? I seem to remember seeing that in the FAQ. Or was it the chat thread?
I've read
so it can also be used for reverse. Not sure if it's red enough for red though.
Also hi, Mary!
Summertime (aka Mikayla) wrote: "I'd claim a color card but not sure any children's books would work"You should check them out in arbookfinder. Many of them satisfy the over 25k word limit restriction.
- is this green or blue? It works for 6 and may work for 8 too.

Hi all~
I'm Sha. I'm indian (the Asian kind, not the North American kind) and I tend to read a lot when I get stressed. As I'm usually stressed this means I read a lot, period.
My most-read genres are Sci-fi/Fantasy and Romance, but I'm not really that picky. I also read a fair amount of YA and MG, which turned out to be pretty useful for last year's challenge.
I've never had a galaxy donut but they look nice. :)
Paula wrote: "V.E. Schwab works for V and S"Thanks.
Also I have read half of the first chapter of a book. Can I put it down and restart it in February to make it count for the challenge?

I know middle initials aren't allowed but what about first name initials? Like V.E. Schwab.

Android Version names? 0.o

I did last year's UNO and I have been waiting anxiously for this year's version to come out. I'm definitely in.
